| After soloing
in Christian Science churches in the Sacramento area regularly since 2000, I began a term as First Reader of my home church in Roseville at
the beginning of February 2009, so
my soloing career has been pretty much on hold. However, starting in August
2009, I resumed making recordings with the help of my friend and
accompanist, Tom Barr, and the generosity of members of the Christian
Science Church in Grass Valley in allowing me to use their church and organ.
Then in late 2011, I began making occasional recordings with my dear friend
and wonderfully talented pianist, Diana Murray-Tudsbury, in her studio.
Now, with my church solo career ready to resume in February, 2012, and with
the wonderful support of friends and churches, I will continue my
exploration of the sacred solo repertoire, and document my discoveries with
informal recordings on this site. The recordings below are my own most
recent additions to the Solo Bank. Check the main Solo Bank listings
for the generous contributions of other soloists to this effort. The recordings
below are MP3
files, and clicking on the icon next to the name of each piece should launch
your computer's MP3 player and allow you to listen to the piece.
If you are unable to play the music with a click on the icon,

fellow soloists: These recordings were made with relatively
inexpensive, easily portable equipment. I have written a description
of how I make the recordings, including equipment and software I use.
